About this wine
The incredibly warm and dry weather in 2025 enabled the vines to ripen our Pinot Noir grapes (used for our rosé) three weeks earlier than we would typically expect. The result was exceptionally ripe fruit to work with in the winery leading to a rosé that is full of energy and concentrated red fruit. Best served chilled - 7 degrees optimal.
The grapes used for our rosé were sourced exclusively from Hollands’ vineyard in the Crouch Valley. Fruit was handpicked in October 2024 into 15kg crates and transported across the estate to the winery. The grapes were then destemmed and lightly crushed before being pressed to give a beautiful blush colour. Following an extended period of lees stirring to give the wine body and texture, fermentation was conducted in stainless steel vats at cool temperatures. The wine was bottled in February 2025.
