About this wine
The incredibly warm and dry weather in 2025 enabled the vines to ripen our Chardonnay grapes three weeks earlier than we would typically expect. The result was exceptionally ripe fruit to work with in the winery which prompted us to try something new – a Chardonnay more aligned to Chablis in style than our regular Chardonnay where we aim for richness and texture. This wine is linear and full of energy, centred around a strong core of citrus fruit. Best served chilled - 7 degrees optimal.
Fruit was handpicked in October 2025 into 15kg crates and transported to the winery. The grapes were then whole bunch pressed. Fermentation was conducted in stainless steel vats at cool temperatures. The wine was bottled in February 2025.
