About this wine
The 2023 growing season brought our Chardonnay grapes to ideal ripeness for crafting an elegant, beautifully balanced white wine. Grown exclusively at Hollands’ vineyard in the Crouch Valley, the quality of fruit reflects both the dedication of our vineyard team and the character of the exceptional terroir.
Handpicked in October 2023, the grapes were gently whole-bunch pressed. The juice was fermented in French oak and underwent malolactic conversion before maturation on gross lees for 12 months. A single battonage was performed as the wine was transferred from barrels to tank in December 2024 before bottling in April 2025.
The result is crisp citrus wine with lemon and apple notes, layered with hints of creamy vanilla and subtle nuttiness.
