About this wine
Grown exclusively at Hollands’ vineyard in the Crouch Valley, the quality of Pinot Noir grapes used to make this wine reflects both the dedication of our vineyard team and the character of the exceptional terroir. While sugar levels were lower than usual and the wine is light in colour, it exhibits intense red fruit aromas and flavours and smooth tannins with a refreshing acid line. Best served lightly chilled.
Handpicked in October 2023, the grapes were destemmed and lightly crushed before fermentation, with gentle punch downs twice a day at cool temperatures. The wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it underwent malolactic conversion and maturation for 14 months before bottling unfined and unfiltered in February 2025.
